J2 Capital UK Limited is a real estate investment and development company focused on sourcing high‑potential sites, securing planning uplift and delivering well‑considered schemes across the UK. We specialise in land acquisition, planning strategy and joint‑venture development, using rigorous analysis and a deep understanding of local policy to unlock value and bring forward commercially viable opportunities.
Working across residential, PRS, student and mixed‑use sectors, we collaborate with landowners, local authorities and delivery partners to shape projects that enhance places and generate long‑term returns. Our approach is disciplined, partnership‑driven and commercially focused — ensuring every scheme we advance contributes meaningfully to the built environment and delivers sustainable value for all stakeholders.
Javed Hussain
Javed is the CEO and Founder. With over 25 years of experience in real estate, he has executed transactions across residential, student accommodation, commercial and industrial sectors. His meticulous attention to detail, strategic judgement and negotiation expertise have been central to building a diversified and resilient property portfolio for the group.
Javed leads the sourcing and execution of all property opportunities, driving the company’s strategy from land acquisition and planning uplift through to development delivery. His long‑term vision, disciplined approach and deep sector knowledge continue to shape our growth.
Shaun Jenkins
Shaun is an Architect and is the key creative contributor to the company, holding accreditation from ARB and RIBA.
Shaun oversees the design of several upcoming major projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. His passion for creativity and communities is balanced with his insights gained from the role of the developer, allowing him to integrate a deeper and broader understanding of the building industry into his work.
Currently, Shaun is collaborating with Salford City Council on proposals for a site adjacent to the River Irwell in Salford. Known as Irwell Gardens, this development aims to foster community by bringing families together and encouraging social interaction and engagement with the river, ultimately creating a vibrant, close-knit neighborhood.
Shaun graduated from the University of Manchester with a Master’s degree in Architecture, earning his degree with Distinction.
Qes Hussain
Qes is the Investments Analyst, responsible for the financial analysis of real estate and development opportunities. Previously, Qes worked at Kennedy Wilson within the Acquisitions Team in London, focusing on Value-Add opportunities across the commercial, residential and logistics property sectors.
Qes holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Warwick and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Investment from Cass Business School.
Imaan Hussain
Imaan is our Office Manager, responsible for implementing new office systems and providing support to team members.
Additionally, Imaan supports the graphic design projects of the Architecture team, using a suite of creative platforms
such as Adobe InDesign.
Imaan has vast experience in office management within various sectors including previous roles ranging from
Property Assistant at Clive Sall Architecture
to Finance Assistant at Human Appeal.
